Web Server

Advantage when using separated Web Server

WAS can also serve static contents. Nevertheless, if both of WAS and Web Server is used, It can take the following advantage:

• It reduces the processing load of the server by allowing WAS and Web Server to serve different content.

• Multiple WASs can be placed by Web Server’s load balancing and can be checked by the Web Server’s health check function.

  

• Real Server can not be exposed to outside by reverse proxy.
